 hiii guys today were reviewing a new fave
 Given!

there was an 11 episode series, three movies, an ova and like four little shorts and i watched all of them and honestly the movies arent that essential unless you want more on the side couples and the third/last movie is the big ending but the series can stand alone so im only going to include the description for the series

Mafuyu Satou was taking a nap in a quiet spot on the gymnasium staircase, when  he has a chance encounter with fellow student Ritsuka Uenoyama, who berates him for letting his guitar's strings rust and break. Noticing Uenoyama's knowledge of the instrument, Satou pleads for him to fix it and to teach him how to play. Uenoyama eventually agrees and invites him to sit in on a jam session with his two band mates: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji. Later on, Uenoyama learns that Satou's voice is strikingly beautiful, filling him with the determination to make Satou the lead singer of the band. Though reticent at first, Satou takes the offer after an emotional meeting with an old friend. With the support of his new friends, Satou must not only learn how to play guitar, but also come to terms with the mysterious circumstances that led him to be its owner.

honestly id rate this a 9.8/10 it was so good and it caught me off guard in the best way possible

the series specifically deals with grieving and internal conflicts but has super cute lovey moments which balanced it out nicely

the movies though deal with more growing up and deciding what you want for the future but still with the cute moments just with the other two side couples

the songs are also super good ive genuinely never been one for jrock but damn these are GOOODDD

 if you're planning on watching tho, watch it before you listen to the songs cus most of the build up of the series and movies is that these are like the big emotional cleansing revealed at the end so if you listen to them before some of the magic might be gone

i also love the 'music can better reach the heart' concept like yes music IS a great way of expressing yourself. i like this show sm cus of how i could feel the emotion and love and passion through the screen which is also a big reason of why i love fruits basket so this was great

the cry count was only one thankfully but they say so much good stuff in this whole series like  SPOILER FOR THE FIRST MOVIE BUT

i finished The Summer Hikaru Died so here's my review!

this is only for the first season since the second season wont come out for a bit it was only 13 eps tho so worth it :D

Yoshiki Tsujinaka's best friend, Hikaru Indou, went missing in the mountains and returned a week later with no memory of what had happened. Yoshiki knows that it is not the Hikaru he knew who came back, so Yoshiki finally asks Hikaru about it. Suddenly, "Hikaru" reveals his true monstrous form and begs Yoshiki to keep it a secret, as he does not want to kill him. Despite his paranormal nature, "Hikaru" seems almost innocent, full of childlike wonder and eager to experience the summer heat, the countryside, and all kinds of other things in a human body for the first time. And for Yoshiki, it matters little if "Hikaru" is a fake relying on stolen memories—as long as he never leaves again. As Yoshiki desperately clings to "Hikaru" in his intense grief, it becomes increasingly clear that something dangerous and supernatural may have descended from the mountains into their village.

this is a psychological horror series based on a manga which i also rllyyyy want but point is i really liked it! i'd describe it as if i made an anime, this would be it

it literally has all my fav components; psychological horror, sentimental, ghost/after life haunting shit, gay shit like did i direct this show and not know it cus this is exactly what i'd make

i rate it a 9/10!i am very excited for season two

i will add a tw for body horror and stuff so yk just be careful if you're not good with that stuff

i dont really have anything to add other than it was RIGHT up my alley and i really liked it and i'd recommend it to anyone who also likes this genre or these kinds of shows

so today bf called me and it was great since he hadn't after a while or wtv but he first was messaging me abt my discord status cus its kinda weird and he was asking abt it but then he asked to see my minecraft world... UH YES????? i was so happy when he asked cus no one willingly asks to see it >U<  so i showed him my java and bedrock ones and he liked them :3 thats one of my fav green flags abt him he cares abt my interests and its feels nice

i also like that no matter how many times i tell him to shut up like as mean as possible he still has never uttered a 'be quiet' to me its cute and exactly how i like them you know your place and that makes my life sm easier :D

i also started 'the summer hikaru died' yesterday and i really like it so far i can already tell this ending is gonna be sad and this isnt a spoiler since im guessing that and im only on episode 4

idk if i wanna watch madoka or jjk after.. or death note or azumanga daioh like i have too much on my watch list

also my bag broke AGAIN so i had to buy a new one and its a black cat! the inside texture still feels weird tho but i think i can deal with it hopefully fun fact idk what this is called but me touching most backpack fabrics/textures make me cringe but not in a 'ew' way in a all  my muscles tense and i might cry kinda bullshit and it sucks cus it also happens when i just HEAR someone touch it..

we also had our hip hop class on friday and i really liked it i honestly ate DOWN dont play she had us doing the baby boo dance and everything like YES im here for it

im scared for my cpr test on monday im SO scared

next week is also a b day week where he have specific classes and i HATE those classes

i dont have any minecraft updates cus im currently building a big school on bedrock which i will tour when im done but i;ll get on survival soon cus i wanna beat the enderdragon
